What is an AI resume checker?

An AI resume checker reads your resume text and scores it against ATS parsing rules and, if you paste one, a job description. Enhance CV returns an overall ATS score, missing keywords, section critiques, and fixable recommendations.

Is the Enhance CV ATS resume scanner free?

Yes. You can run the free ATS resume scanner without an account. Upload a PDF or Word file, or paste text, then optionally add a job ad for a closer keyword match.

Which files does the ATS checker accept?

PDF and DOCX. Text-based PDFs score more accurately than scanned images. Keep files under 4 MB. You can also paste resume text if you do not want to upload a file.

Does the ATS checker store my resume?

No. The file is parsed in memory so the model can read the text. Enhance CV does not keep the upload after the scan finishes.

How is the ATS score calculated?

The score is not a model guess alone. Enhance CV runs parse checks (email, headings, dates, bullets), matches job-ad keywords in the text, then blends that with an AI critique of impact and language. A job description makes the keyword portion more precise.

Will this guarantee I pass Workday or Greenhouse?

No checker can guarantee a pass. Applicant tracking systems differ. Enhance CV scores the issues those systems commonly fail on so you can fix them before you apply.
